Fortis BuildSafe Solutions is committed to a website that people of all abilities can use. We design and test fortisbss.com against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we do

The site is built with semantic structure, keyboard navigation, labeled forms and controls, sufficient color contrast, and text alternatives for meaningful images. Accessibility is reviewed as part of our development process, and issues found in audits are corrected as they are identified. The most recent accessibility review was completed in August 2026.

Known limitations

Some content is provided by third-party services — such as the interactive project map and embedded verification tools — whose accessibility we do not fully control. Where a third-party feature is not accessible, we aim to provide the same information in an accessible form, such as the text project list that accompanies the map.
