These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Fortis BuildSafe Solutions (“Fortis”) website. By using this website or submitting a quote request, you agree to these terms.

Use of This Website

The content on this website is provided for general information about Fortis structural and forensic engineering services. It does not constitute an engineering opinion, report, or certification for any specific building. An engineering opinion is provided only through a signed and sealed deliverable issued under a written agreement.

Website Forms

Submitting the quote request, board packet download, or sample report download form does not create a contract for services. Scope, schedule, and fees for engineering services are established in a written proposal accepted by both parties. You agree that the information you submit through any form on this website is accurate and that you are authorized to submit it.

SMS Communications

Program description. If you provide your mobile telephone number and affirmatively opt in, Fortis BuildSafe Solutions may send you text messages relating to the category of communication for which you provided consent. These may include inspection scheduling and appointment reminders, quote, proposal and project status updates, responses to inquiries you submit through this website, billing and account notifications, and — only where you have separately opted in to marketing — occasional promotional messages about Fortis services.

Example messages:

Fortis BuildSafe: Your milestone inspection at East Point Towers is scheduled for Tue 9/16 at 9:00 AM. Reply STOP to opt out.
Fortis BuildSafe: Your SIRS proposal is ready and has been emailed to the address on file. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

How you opt in. Consent is collected through a clearly labeled checkbox on the forms on this website. The checkbox is never pre-selected. Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, and you may submit any form on this website without providing a telephone number.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and getting help. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from SMS messages at any time. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact Fortis at 954-756-6876 or sales@fortisbss.com.

Carrier disclaimer. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The Fortis name, marks, text, photography, and drawings on this website are the property of Fortis and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Venue

The exclusive forum for any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of this website is the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, that provision is limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
